4. Click on Create Video Minisite
5. Verify that your configuration settings were saved (If your configuration settings were not saved, see the detailed instructions for step #5 below.)
6. Check out your site and make any needed changes
7. Remove the setup.php from your video folder
That's it!
Detailed Instructions:
1. FTP the files in the folder VideoClipMinisites to your web host
You can install the script in the root folder of your domain like - http://yourdomain.com , or in a folder like - http://yourdomain.com/videos , or in a subdomain like http://videos.yourdomain.com
2. Run the setup.php program
Open your browser and run the setup.php file, if the script is in the root folder you would run http://yourdomain.com/setup.php . If you have your script installed in a folder, you would run the file from http://yourdomain.com/yourpath/setup.php . If you installed the script in a subdomain run http://videos.yourdomain.com/setup.php
3. Input the information requested
Video Page Path - If installing in a folder, be sure the "Video Page Path" ends with a "/".
Main Keyword - This is the main topic of your site. It can be general, like "Golf" or it can be more targeted like "Golf Swing". Do Not end your topic with the word "video", the program will append video on to your topic keyword.
Order of Videos - The order in which you want your videos displayed - by:
- ViewCount - to order videos by the number of times they've been viewed
- Rating - to order videos by rating
- Relevance - to order videos by relevance
- Updated - newest videos
Adsense ID - The template is setup to use Google Adsense for money generation. If you don't want to use Adsense, you can leave "Adsense ID" blank. If you desire to insert your own ads, you can modify the following files to advertise whatever you want.
templates/default/banner_bottom.html
templates/default/banner_inner_list.html
templates/default/banner_sidebar.html
templates/default/banner_top.html
Your Footer Link - The "Brought to You By" link in the footer of each page you create. The link may be your video path, your main domain, or any other link of your choosing.
Your Footer Link Text - The Click-able text you want associated with the above link.
Clickbank ID - Your Clickbank Affiliate ID. Every page you build will contain a link, with your Clickbank ID, to VideoClipMinisites. Whenever one of your pages refers a buying customer to VideoClipMinisites you make a 60% commission. If you are not a Clickbank affiliate, you can sign up for free here -

Keywords - These are keywords that are related to your topic. These will be listed on the sidebar menu as additional pages. I would suggest no more than 10 keywords, and do not end the keywords with the word "video".
4. Click on CREATE Video Minisite.
5. Verify that your configuration settings were saved - After you click on submit, the screen will refresh and you should see your saved settings. If your settings are not displayed, you will need to change the file permissions on the files init.php and keywords.php. Change the permissions to 644, then run steps 3 and 4 again. If your settings are still not displayed after your click CREATE Video Minisite, try permissions 664, then 666.
6. Now click on "Go to Created Site" to see your minisite!! - Make any changes that need to be made - keywords, number of videos etc.
7. Remove the setup.php file from your host video folder - Once you are happy with your site, remove the setup.php file from your video root folder on your host. If you ever need to make changes to your site, you can ftp the setup.php file to your site, make changes and then remove the file again.
If you need help, see the troubleshooting.html file in this folder, then please contact the person you bought the script from.
